Senior Audio Electronics Engineer

Job Overview:

Atomik Audio is seeking an experienced and innovative Audio Electronics Engineer to join our growing team dedicated to crafting exceptional professional audio products. In this role, you will design and develop state-of-the-art audio electronic systems including amplifiers, digital signal processors (DSPs), and related audio hardware. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prototype and optimize audio electronics circuits, such as Class-D amplifiers, analog/digital converters and DSP modules.

  • Perform detailed circuit simulations, analyses and validations to ensure reliability, efficiency, and performance.

  • Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs), overseeing the entire process from schematic creation through fabrication and testing.

  • Collaborate closely with electro-acoustic, mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure product integration and functionality.

  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, EMC/EMI requirements, and product reliability.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of circuit designs, test procedures, specifications and results.

  • Provide expert technical support during manufacturing, product deployment and troubleshooting phases.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in audio electronics.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in audio electronics design and development, specifically in amplifiers.

  • Proficiency in analog audio circuit design, PCB design tools (OrCAD, Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation software (LTspice, Multisim).

  • Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., EMC, EMI, IEC, AES, IEEE).

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of working within interdisciplinary teams.
