Electro-Acoustics Engineer

Job Overview:

Atomik Audio is looking for a talented Electro-Acoustics Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of professional audio. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in designing and developing advanced electro-acoustic components and systems for our premium loudspeakers and audio products. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to product innovation, quality and performance in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design and develop electro-acoustic systems.

• Conduct acoustic simulations and measurements of loudspeakers and rooms.

• Collaborate with mechanical, electronic and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electro-acoustic components.

• Develop and implement standardized testing protocols for acoustic performance validation and quality assurance.

• Document detailed design processes, specifications, test results and analysis, clearly and effectively.

• Remain current with emerging electro-acoustic technologies, methodologies and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electro-acoustics.

• Hands-on experience with industry standard audio measurement equipment.

• Strong understanding of electro-acoustic principles.

• Knowledge of using room simulation softwares (EASE, Odeon, etc.).

• Proficiency with CAD software for mechanical and acoustic design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.).

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
